It’s the naked truth now:  Congress will spend your money to get votes from anyone else, even if it means you and yours will suffer at the hands of a person elected in another state, just so the party in power will be able to claim some victory, while burning down the house?

I have often mused that the entire 535 people in the Congress should have to take my phone calls/letters/emails, because they take my money.  Add to that, they will tell you they are doing the work of “the people.”

They are paid by Federal funds.  Those are collected from everyone…yet somehow these people continue to blow off anyone outside their districts.  At one level, I could buy that, if they actually worked for their districts, but…as we now see in the abomination of a health care bill, they will be very happy to “redistribute your wealth” to get enough votes, so long at the hold outs get what they want for their district…AT YOUR EXPENSE!

So much for equal rights, so much for “equality,” so much for “justice.”  It’s just naked power grabs, and to hell with anyone who doesn’t like it.

We have all known this is how some of it went, but now there seems to be no vestige of fair play left in the system, just who can keep their friends in the money.

I thought of the Christmas 2007 videos of the Presidential Candidates, in particular Hillary Clinton’s, where it was all about what they would take from someone else in order to give something to someone else, just to get the vote.  “Regifting” at the Federal level, and not one of them mentioned how they would personally provide something, just that they would rob Peter and pay Pauline.

Add to that that no one can even read the bill before it is voted on.  Anyone who has been an employer would fire an employee, sent to represent them at a meeting, only to find out they didn’t read the material, but cut deals with the others in the room, because they personally would benefit, even while the company suffered a loss.

That’s Congress.  They don’t work for their pay, they take our money so they can sit there and vote themselves privilege, even while we are out of work, and have crushing debt piling up…at their own hand.

We should be able to call them, any one of them and voice our opinion, and they should have a mechanism to hear it, instead of rejecting it based on address.  They do what affects all of us, yet they put up walls to keep our voices out.

Now, we’ll have to listen to them complain that they sacrificed time with their families to stay in the deep (record breaking) snow of DC to make sure this vote was conducted in the favor of the Democrats alone, while Americans, the run of the mill, small business owners and regular people, will be force to send money to DC to cover their political commitments in other states to buy votes for the next 4 years, while getting nothing in return.  In a private setting, you’d get to sue the provider for not providing, but then…this it President Obama and the Democrats at work telling you where you will send your money and that you will go to jail if you do not.

2010 can’t come soon enough.  Maybe Americans will have awakened by then…or they will have been stupefied by being told they will have everything taken care of by Big Brother.  How stupid we have become, and we let it happen.

For those unfamiliar with what has occurred as of late, some memos were obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request and subsequently posted on a public server.  The propaganda line about those memos is that they were ‘stolen’ by a ‘hacker’, which is simply not the case.  Barbara Boxer has called for a ‘criminal investigation’ – not into the science behind global warming which those memos proved to be completely fabricated – but a criminal investigation into the HACKER and how those memos were STOLEN.

Lord Monckton and Americans for Prosperity are in Copenhagen because the science is absolutely not settled; yet the Hitlerettes of SustainUS would have you believe that is why Monckton and the people who are not global warming religionists-should just shut up.

James Hansen, a paid public official of NASA, has publicly and repeatedly demanded that those of us who dare to question what is now known to be the serially unsound and dishonest pseudo-science of the UN’s climate panel and of the various national scientific institutions that contribute to it, should be put on trial for what he has called “high crimes against humanity”. He knows, and the Administrator of NASA knows, that the penalty for crimes against humanity is death. Hansen is asking for those of us who disagree with him to be tried by the Staatssicherheitsdienst and then killed, and the Administrator of NASA continues to allow him to get away with it.

The Hitler youth used the same shout-em-out techniques as SustainUS sychophants.  The one-way thinking of the EnviroNazis has invaded climate science to the point where James Hansen has called to have the opposition killed, and he continues to get paid by NASA, and no one blinks.

At the video below, Lord Monckton confronts them in their own booth where they are simply unable to defend the global warming hypothesis, yet he rattles off where they can go if they really want to see scientific data.

They are blind ideologues unaffected by the notion that people are dying in third world countries because of the ramifications of the agenda they’re pushing, as Monckton notes.

The EPA, once it has declared carbon dioxide a “threat to public health,” will have the authority to issue any regulation they desire, without anyone passing a law. The EPA will then be able to decide how much CO2 each person may emit on a certain day, and will have the power to throw you in jail or fine you, should you emit too much — even if the source of that CO2 is from your breathing.

Sure, it sounds far-fetched, but more important is the idea that a group of unelected bureaucrats somehow, in this government today, have the power to declare something a crime. These people have the power to regulate a gas that has been, and continues to be, produced naturally since the earth began. In America, a country founded on freedom and responsibility, a government agency is preparing to regulate cabon dioxide — which can only impact literally every aspect of every person’s life. There is no possible way any person can be free while the government can literally regulate your every breath.

How is it that Al Gore, who claims to know all about the planet earth and how its human inhabitants are destroying our fragile sphere, cannot keep track of his own schedule?

As reported, in part, at FOXNews:

“The former vice president and Nobel Peace Prize winner had been scheduled to speak to more than 3,000 people at a Dec. 16 event hosted by the Berlingske Tidende newspaper group. The group says Gore canceled the lecture Thursday, citing unforeseen changes in his schedule.”

Mind you, this is the same Al Gore whose keen insights and vision have earned him an Oscar, a Nobel Prize, and world-wide acclaim as an expert on global warming, AKA climate change.

What manner of “unforeseen change” could possibly disrupt the Green Guru’s lecture and obscene $1,200 per handshake money grab in Copenhagen?

Does “ClimateGate” ring a bell?

With the most sensational scandal in the history of science threatening to disrupt her pet project and investment portfolio, Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) has decided that the whistle blower, rather than the offender, should be punished in the ClimateGate affair.

“Leaked e-mails allegedly undermining climate change science should be treated as a criminal matter, Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) said Wednesday afternoon.

”Boxer, the top Democrat on the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, said that the recently released e-mails, showing scientists allegedly overstating the case for climate change, should be treated as a crime.

“You call it ‘Climategate’; I call it ‘E-mail-theft-gate,’” she said during a committee meeting. “Whatever it is, the main issue is, Are we facing global warming or are we not? I’m looking at these e-mails, that, even though they were stolen, are now out in the public.”

“The e-mails, from scientists at the University of East Anglia, were obtained through hacking. The messages showed the director of the university’s Climate Research Unit discussing ways to strengthen the unit’s case for global warming. Climate change skeptics have seized on the e-mails, arguing that they demonstrate manipulation in environmental science.

”Boxer said her committee may hold hearings into the matter as its top Republican, Sen. James Inhofe (Okla.), has asked for, but that a criminal probe would be part of any such hearings.”

A criminal probe, eh? You know that might be just what America needs, Senator.

Why not a Blue Ribbon Congressional Panel to investigate the fraud and deceit visited upon the American people by left-wing moon bats like Al Gore and Barbara Boxer in their attempt to extort trillions of dollars from the U.S. Treasury based on junk science and fear mongering?

Why not a criminal probe, indeed, with handcuffs at the ready, in your size, Madam, should the evidence point to criminal conduct on your part?

Include an orange prison suit in size XXXX for the bloated personage of Al Gore—just in case, you know.

What a globally heart-warming scene that would be: Al Gore and Barbara Boxer perk-walked out of the Senate Chambers in handcuffs as the hot air from those responsible for the climate change hoax is exposed and expunged!

Sensenbrenner does a brilliant job of questioning John Holdren, the “Science Czar”. Of course, it’s politicized science that he’s the Czar over, of that there is no doubt.

We’ll get to the bottom of the ‘controversy’ Holdren, says. I’ll bet they will, I think what he means is …they’ll find out who hacked into those emails because the embarrassing result is obvious.

The chairman of the Academy of Science panel, Texas A&M University atmospheric scientist Gerald North, confirmed in an interview Wednesday that Holdren was right, not Sensenbrenner.

“The conclusions that we came to were essentially the same as the hockey stick” theory that Mann proposed, North told The Associated Press. North said even if Jones, Mann and others had done no research at all, the world would still be warming and scientists would still be able to show it.

Well of course they were; the obvious point that the AP avoids and skates around is – NASA, the climate change experts at the Universities and a whole industry has popped up based on the promulgation and promotion of the global warming lie. They had a VESTED INTEREST in keeping it going; and they so wanted to keep it going that they agreed with results that were put together by faulty data that had certain periods of historical warming completely eliminating in order to produce the long discredited hockey stick graph.

The more they sounded the global warming alarm, the more money they got for ‘research’.

Of COURSE they agreed with the hockey stick graph; that graph brought all kinds of grant money.

Here are some specifics on what kind of money we’re talking about.

Climategate: Follow the Money

Last year, ExxonMobil donated $7 million to a grab-bag of public policy institutes, including the Aspen Institute, the Asia Society and Transparency International. It also gave a combined $125,000 to the Heritage Institute and the National Center for Policy Analysis, two conservative think tanks that have offered dissenting views on what until recently was called—without irony—the climate change “consensus.”

Consider the case of Phil Jones, the director of the CRU and the man at the heart of climategate. According to one of the documents leaked from his center, between 2000 and 2006 Mr. Jones was the recipient (or co-recipient) of some $19 million worth of research grants, a sixfold increase over what he’d been awarded in the 1990s.

the European Commission’s most recent appropriation for climate research comes to nearly $3 billion, and that’s not counting funds from the EU’s member governments. In the U.S., the House intends to spend $1.3 billion on NASA’s climate efforts, $400 million on NOAA’s, and another $300 million for the National Science Foundation. American states also have a piece of the action, with California—apparently not feeling bankrupt enough—devoting $600 million to their own climate initiative. In Australia, alarmists have their own Department of Climate Change at their funding disposal.

And all this is only a fraction of the $94 billion that HSBC estimates has been spent globally this year on what it calls “green stimulus”—largely ethanol and other alternative energy schemes—of the kind from which Al Gore and his partners at Kleiner Perkins hope to profit handsomely.

These AGM religionists have had a financial interest in keeping this hoax moving; and for politicians it’s a goldmine and a pathway to more power.

For his part, Jones announced that he will step down during the investigation period.

“What is most important is that CRU continues its world leading research with as little interruption and diversion as possible,” Jones said in a statement. “After a good deal of consideration I have decided that the best way to achieve this is by stepping aside from the Director’s role during the course of the independent review and am grateful to the University for agreeing to this. The Review process will have my full support.”

Jones’s emails to colleagues have received attention because he indicated he had to use a “trick” to “hide the decline” in a global temperatures chart. Then there is his request to other researchers to “delete any emails” regarding warming to avoid exposure in a Freedom of Information Act request from researchers requesting data. In another, he suggested boycotting an academic journal because it published a peer-reviewed paper showing scientific evidence which disproved global warming. Naturally, politicized scientists viewed that paper as “flawed”.

“I will be emailing the journal to tell them I’m having nothing more to do with it until they rid themselves of this troublesome editor,” he wrote.

In a another email from 2005, Jones wrote to Hughes, Bradley and Mann, “I’m getting hassled by a lot of people to release the CRU station temperature data. Don’t any of you three tell people that the UK has a Freedom of Information Act!”

Jones has avoided interviews,

but he issued a statement last month saying his words had been taken out of context, a position echoed by other academics on the e-mail chain, including Michael E. Mann, director of the Earth System Science Center at Pennsylvania State University. Jones denied deleting any e-mails, and said he meant to imply the way he arranged the temperature chart was “a clever thing to do” rather than an effort to distort the science.

Scientist steps down during e-mail probe

Marc Morano, who edits the ClimateDepot.com, (which was called the ‘climate skeptic blog by the Washington Post) welcomed the news: “This is a positive development in the battle against politicized science. Jones was at the epicenter of the UN’s efforts to hype man-made climate fears. His stepping down is a victory for science.”

Melanie Fitzpatrick, a global warming activist named by the Washington Post as a “climate scientist” at the “Union of Concerned Scientists”, an advocacy group, said opponents of action on climate change are using the hacked e-mails “to spread disinformation.”

On Monday, Pennsylvania State University announced it was launching an investigation into the academic conduct of Michael Mann, director of the school’s Earth System Science Center.

Mr. Mann is front and center in the debate over what constitutes unethical research. In the current controversy, he is named in about 270 of the more than 1,000 leaked e-mails, many of which detail disturbing and improper academic behavior. On Monday, he told the Penn State student newspaper that the controversy over the leaked e-mails was simply part of a systematic smear campaign to prevent climate researchers from doing their work and that the leaks were timed to derail next week’s climate summit.

The evidence suggests that his troubles were not created by a smear campaign but are the result of his own shenanigans. In an e-mail titled “IPCC & FOI” (referring to the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and the Freedom of Information Act), Mr. Jones wrote to Mr. Mann, asking: “Mike: Can you delete any emails you may have had with Keith [Briffa] re [the IPCC's Fourth Assessment Report]? Keith will do likewise. … Can you also email Gene [Wahl] and get him to do the same? I don’t have his new email address. We will be getting Caspar [Amman] to do likewise.”

Although Mr. Mann acknowledges that he received this message, he claims that neither he nor anyone else actually deleted any e-mails to hide information from a Freedom of Information request on how the United Nation’s IPCC report was written. His e-mail response at the time, however, is quite damning because the language makes it seem that he went along with Mr. Jones’ proposed initiative to destroy evidence. Far from criticizing the request, Mr. Mann wrote back: “I’ll contact Gene about this ASAP. His new email is: generwahl@yahoo.com. Talk to you later, Mike.”

This disturbing willingness to participate in skullduggery is consistent with other leaked communications with Mr. Mann, including his now notorious e-mail about how “to hide the decline [in temperature],” which demolishes leftist claims that global temperatures are increasing.

According to this article in Der Spiegel: “Climatologists Baffled by Global Warming Time-Out.”  Yes, Virginia, Climategate busted the dam wide open.  The University of East Anglia has a lot of “splainin’ to do regarding what was in those emails that hit the web.  If for no other reason, the high falutin’ elitists who have been ridiculing people who haven’t been ‘going along to get along’ have quite a bit of crow to eat.

If the theory can’t predict or explain the observed facts, it’s wrong.  But then if that were true, we would have to revise all textbooks regarding the Victorian-age myth of “Evolution”.

These emails reveal admissions of doubt, and plans to manipulate data way beyond what they did to produce the hockey stick graph.  They acknowledge that global temperatures decreased for the past DECADE. One scientist wanted to know “where the heck is global warming? The fact is that we can’t account for the lack of warming at the moment and it is a travesty that we can’t.”

A travesty?  It’s a GIFT!  At this juncture, when President Obama is proposing devastating Cap & Trade Legislation that will kneecap small business and industry; and the meeting in Copenhagen is just around the corner; this revelation is ‘just in time’, and a devastating blow to the Al Gores of the world who have been making money hand-over-fist from keeping this myth alive.

What will this do for the scientists who have been going after that grant money with “Global Warming” in their grant applications?
